Tree Surgery Seaton

One of our jobs this week, a client who needed a tree surgeon in Seaton, an Ash tree that had sadly died due to Ash Die Back.

We actually first saw the tree when we were working in the neighbouring property a week before, doing a large clearance job. We were asked about the possibility of removing the tree, were were able to give the homeowner a verbal quote there and then and backed it up later in the day in written form. The tree was in a boundary hedge line and was right next to an area that was going to be used for a summerhouse, it was very clear that it should be removed before work started.

The ash tree was in a sorry state, very brittle and shedding limbs which was both messy and dangerous for anyone using the path below. The tree could not be simply felled as the drop zone was full of obstructions, wooden garden fences, chicken houses, not to mention the overhead powerlines that were nearby.

The tree was dismantled limb by limb, then the remaining stump felled into a grass area. The larger wood was chopped into 250mm rounds ready to be split and used for future firewood. All the brash was removed from site and chipped, and the job ended with our usual high standard of clear up.
