Hedge Cutting East Devon

We cover all East Devon and Exeter areas.

Small garden hedges, large commercial hedges or any hedge care in East Devon we can help.

Let us take the strain of your hedge cutting. No matter what size of hedge we can quickly and efficiently cut your hedge and clear the waste away, leaving the site clean and tidy.

Hedge Trimming

Hedge trimming – reducing the growth that has occurred over the last few months. The amount trimmed would be measured in inches rather than feet.
We recommend that hedges are trimmed twice per year, possibly more often if you have specific requirements.

Hedge Reductions

Hedge reductions are necessary when hedges have been left too long since their last trim, often years rather than months.
The hedge would be visually very different to its past condition. The amount needed to be removed would be measured in feet rather than inches.

Hedge Detailing

Sometimes hedges just need a little attention to meet your own requirements. Not necessarily a trim or a reduction but attention in a certain way or area.
For example, lowering the height in a certain area to open a view.
This is very much the personal requirement of a homeowner.

Regular Hedge Maintenance Gives Many Advantages.
Firstly, it is the most cost effective option, saving both time and money. Having your hedge trimmed every few months is very time efficient, rather than having to cut back large amounts of growth and then collecting and removing all this waste, a regular trim will just be removing small amounts, much quicker to cut and also collect. This regular cutting is also far better for the hedge and promotes thicker growth, exactly as a hedge should be.
Hedges also act as a security measure for many properties, and a good maintenance regime will keep your hedge as a strong visual and also physical barrier to unwanted visitors.
A good hedge also provides privacy and a smart entrance for any property, giving that kerb appeal that we all love, which in turn adds value to any property.

I recently had work done by Devon Arborists to remove some bamboo from mine and my neighbouring properties garden. From start to finish the team was professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about their work. Keith took the time to answer all of my questions and explain everything thoroughly. Everything was completed on time and the area was left clean and tidy. Keith, Theo and Jake done a fantastic job! It’s great to see a company that takes pride in their work and customer service. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for reliable, high-quality bamboo work! Thank you!

After discussing and confirming the extent of the trimming, the team carried out the work quickly and efficiently; the site was left clean and tidy when they left.

I recently hired Devon Arborists to remove an unstable tree for my elderly parents and they were fantastic from start to finish. Max was punctual, professional, and incredibly respectful, taking time to explain everything clearly and the options available. The work was completed safely and to a very high standard, and they left the front garden area spotless. I highly recommend Devon Arborists and thank you to Caroline too for all her help.

Devon Arborists conducted full bamboo survey and removal works at my property recently and were incredibly thorough and professional throughout the whole process. There were several bamboo plants so they personalised the service to conduct the best course of treatment (be it removal or herbicide) according to the location/needs of each plant to ensure effective eradication. They removed all the bamboo that had grown underneath my garden path and put the paving slabs back down so neatly it actually looked better than before the works took place. Keith is incredibly knowledgable, professional, and instantly put me at ease - their 5 year guarantee gives me huge peace of mind that I can call on them with any further questions/last bits of removal for any regrowth in future if needed. Really highly recommend this company - they are clearly experts in this field.

Firstly surprised at the elapsed time from asking for a quote and the date given for execution, but well worth the wait. The team arrived on the day stated, tidy and very polite. The work was speedily and professionally executed and they did not leave until everything was neatly cleared away.
Would definitely use Devon Aborists if I required more tree work in the future.

Devon Arborists did a great job for us today. To begin with, despite storm Claudia causing chaos with loads of rain they turned up. We were not able to be there as we had work commitments but they followed instructions we had given and tidied up well after themselves. Thank you for your good work.

This professional team removed many old intergrowing conifers of varying sizes from our small frontage and rear garden. The stumps were ground down and we were left with neat plantable areas. All the waste was removed, paving and roadway cleared. Highly recommended.
