We were asked to give an old conifer hedge which was very overgrown with bramble and ivy a good trim and clear out. The brambles and ivy were completely taking over the hedge and growing up into the trees, to a height of around 25 feet.
The hedge ideally needed to be removed and replanted, this was discussed and is a project planned for the future. At this present time the hedge was doing still providing a reasonable stock barrier so fencing was not needed.
Now the ivy and bramble has been stripped from the trees they will be far healthier and produce good new growth.
